December 25th 2004 - MERRY X'MAS!

MERRY X'MAS EVERYONE!

However, for me it's got to be the shortest Christmas Day ever, for I only got up about an hour ago.

Really, I do have a "good" reason. Went out last night with Jacob, aka. "inujin" from LiveJournal (first time we've actually met!) to Jeff's Bar, and of course ordered nomihoudai straight off.

Two hours and many Smirnoff Ices later, Larry the barman said that we could have a little bit of extra time on our nomihoudai.

And then someone else got me a glass of red wine.

And then we ended up in Bar Sanctuary with an English teacher we'd only just met, where I quickly drank down a Kaluha-Milk.

It was about 3.30am when we decided to go home. That was pretty interesting, trying to bike home while pissed. First off, I followed inujin because I was sure he lived near me. He didn't. But, he was really nice and lead me all the way back into town, and THEN took me all the way home (long, long way!). It was 4.30am by the time I got to bed.

So this morning, I'm woken up by Phil phoning me to wish me a happy Christmas, and I have to tell him that I'm-going-to-have-to-go-now-cause-I'm-about-to-throw-up. I discover a blood-soaked tissue sellotaped to my knee from where I've fallen off my bike on the way home. And then, I pass out in bed and lie there, unable to move except for occasional runs to the bathroom.

So yeah, Christmas Eve was actually pretty fun - shame about the day after.

And now, I don't think I'll be going out tonight - I'm still very shaky. Going to be a quiet night in with a book for me!

Parents coming tomorrow - yay!
